John and i closed Tidewater Way, our retreat center four years ago. We had become too successful and admitted that we were tired. We put it on the market (interested in buying a beautiful property on the coast of Maine???) and moved to town. From Newcastle it is a ten minute walk across the bridge to Damariscotta - a town we have loved for over 30 years. It has everything!
On June 14th our son, Peter, married Mary Beth at Camp O-AT-KA in Sebago, Maine (photos attached) On May 30, 2016 our granddaughter, Annie, was born
(and yes, photos attached.
School Story:

As a majorette, we often twirled fire at night games.
Each of us had a "fire aid" whatever, it was called -
someone to help us light up. My aid was my dear
friend, Amy Friedman. Somehow after one game,
we left her behind. Horrors! Was it Shaw High Amy?
